After Tottenham’s 2-1 loss to West Ham, there was a huge uproar when Dejan Kulusevski attempted to confront referee Michael Salisbury, which led to his teammates having to restrain him.
Romero’s goal in the first half gave Spurs the lead, but West Ham rallied and won with two goals in the second half, resulting in Tottenham’s fourth defeat in five games.
Kulusevski’s outrage was a result of an incident that happened during the game where he was booked while Lucas Paqueta went unpunished, even though the Brazilian was caught elbowing him.
At full time, the Swedish player’s discontent was evident as teammates Richarlison and Destiny Udogie physically drew him back, averting a direct altercation with the match official and potentially incurring an FA punishment.
