Sergio Reguilon, a defender for Tottenham Hotspur, is almost certain to join with Brentford, a team in the Premier League.

Reguilon returned to Spurs following his brief stint at Manchester United, but it appears he is about to finalize a transfer to another English team.

Reguilon is “on the verge” of joining the Bees as Thomas Frank attempts to bolster his roster during the January window, according to French publication L’Equipe.

Brentford will receive Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham.

Reguilon is now almost certain to complete another loan move from Tottenham to Brentford, where he will play until the end of the season, according to the French publication.

Reguilon, a £32 million acquisition by Spurs, is not Ange Postecoglou’s priority, and after his return from Old Trafford, he has been moved on once more.

Numerous destinations Under the new manager, Udogie has arrived and is Spurs’ first choice at left back; Reguilon isn’t even being considered.

Tottenham is active this month and has already reached agreements to sign Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin.

Although it could be difficult to complete an expensive deal this month, they are still interested in Conor Gallagher.

Reguilon must be removed.

Since Ange took over, it has been evident that some players will be replaced, and Reguilon appears to be one of those who is just not thought highly of.

Moving to Brentford, however, is a benefit. Thomas Frank will be thrilled to get a player like him through the door since they are a fantastic club led by an excellent manager.

Reguilon made an early impression at Tottenham but somewhat faded from view under Antonio Conte.

Under Postecoglou, that has persisted, but a transfer to Brentford offers him the opportunity to pick things back up.

The Bees are in risk of getting drawn into a dogfight for relegation, so Reguilon will need to be prepared to step in and help out.
