Journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport reports that Max Eberl and Bayern Munich have finally convened and come to an agreement for the executive to join the Bavarians.

Eberl has been mentioned as a serious contender to take a board seat in Bavaria. He had a falling out with RB Leipzig after it became apparent that he was speaking with Bayern Munich.

It looks like the move will take place now:

➡️ Eberl is going to sign a long-term agreement.

➡️ He is anticipated to begin work no sooner than March.

➡️ There’s no doubt about it: He’ll start the second half of the season in his new role!

The official approval of Eberl’s nomination is anticipated to occur at the end of February during the next meeting of the supervisory board.

The less-than-€5 million agreed-upon transfer price is no longer a barrier. Bayern and Leipzig continue their business partnership. @SkySportDE

Journalist Martin Volkmar of Ransport confirmed the information.

Revision Max #Eberl: @ransport intel indicates that the report from #Sky is accurate. According to reports, #Eberl recently had a last chat with #Hainer, the boss of the supervisory board, and the president of the FC Bayern. Thus, final confirmation at the end of February at the next AR conference should be a formality.

We should have a clearer idea of how all of this will play out in Bavaria going ahead by the end of next month.
