Antonio Nusa, a wonderkid at Club Brugge who was favored to go with Real Madrid just a year ago, is being pursued by Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham has had another successful transfer window.

Timo Werner joined on loan from RB Leipzig, and Spurs successfully repelled Bayern Munich’s attempt to hijack Radu Dragusin.

Ange Postecoglou will be happy with Tottenham’s current business, but one more signing might still be in the works.

According to HITC Football, Tottenham is negotiating to sign Antonio Nusa, a talented player from Club Brugge.

According to the agreement, Nusa would join Tottenham in the summer after remaining with Club Brugge, much like the deals Spurs have already made for Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie.

Spurs supporters will be thrilled to welcome Nusa to the team.

With 63 games under his belt for Club Brugge, the 18-year-old has already scored seven goals and provided four assists.

Though Nusa’s raw ability to get past defenders and cause havoc in the final third has been evident to all, that record may not seem remarkable.

Nusa has already earned four caps for Norway, where he has contributed four assists and one goal in international play.

Ruud Vormer, a former teammate at Club Brugge, is a big fan of the former Stabaek talent, who is being backed for a huge future.

The Belgian media was informed by Dutchman Vormer—who is currently with Zulte Waregem—that he believes Nusa is destined to play for Real Madrid or Manchester City.

“Remember my words,” Vormer uttered, assuredly projecting that Nusa was headed for stardom and that his stint at Club Brugge would only be brief.

“Just put Antonio Nusa down on paper. Later on, he will perform at the world’s largest clubs. City of Real Madrid. Recall what I said,” Vormer said.

That kind of comment will leave Tottenham fans believing that Nusa would be a threat in the Spurs attack for years to come.

Tottenham already have some exciting attacking players but Nusa appears to have elite potential, hence Tottenham’s willingness to do a deal now but leave him in Belgium.

Maybe Nusa will end up following the path of Gareth Bale, becoming a star at Tottenham before then playing for Real Madrid as Vormer predicts.

Tottenham need to get this deal done first though, and whilst fans would have to wait until the summer to see him in action, he could be well worth the wait.
