Club Brugge manager confirms Antonio Nusa’s departure amid a £30 million move to Tottenham
Antonio Nusa, a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, will depart Club Brugge at the conclusion of the season, if not during the January transfer window, according to head coach Ronny Deila.
Spurs were the latest team to show interest in the 18-year-old attacker this transfer window; a number of European teams, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, were also keeping an eye on him.
Since joining from Stabaek Football, the Norway international has netted seven goals and assisted on four more for Brugge. Talks on the possibility of a sale and loan back agreement until the end of the season were held between Tottenham and the Belgian team earlier this month.
An approximate £0 million price tag has been mentioned for the highly-regarded adolescent. Timo Werner’s loan move helped Spurs expand their offensive options, but Ange Postecoglou is eager to bring in more long-term players as Son Heung-min’s potential replacement.
Although there hasn’t been any movement on a deal in recent weeks, a transfer to the Premier League might yet happen with one week left in the January transfer window. Deila has stated that he is unsure if Nusa will go this month, though.

“A choice must be taken right now, and he must act in our best interests. We should be able to keep him till June, I hope. He will then be considerably more prepared to depart.”
Nusa might return to the Pro League team on loan until the end of the season, provided Spurs and Club Brugge can still come to an amicable agreement.
