Roony Bardghji of FC Copenhagen is supposedly the target of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Danish outlet BT claims that Spurs are one of several elite European teams interested in the 18-year-old winger.

According to the source, Tottenham is a “big suitor” and might challenge Chelsea for Bardghji’s services.

Copenhagen is supposedly rubbing their hands in anticipation of the potential financial rewards that Spurs and the Blues could get.

According to BT, the Danish powerhouses are aiming for a record deal; Victor Kristiansen, who moved to Leicester for approximately £17 million, now holds the record.

Bardghji’s contract expires in December 2025, thus Copenhagen has postponed contract extension negotiations. According to the article, the goal is to “make a huge sale” in the upcoming two windows.

In addition, BT notes that Bardghji is reportedly in London “these days” based on his Instagram page, although they are unsure if this is related to a possible move to England.

The Sweden Under-21 international is reportedly valued at £30 million, which would make him the most expensive player ever sold in the Danish Superliga.

TBR View: Roony Bardghji is an excellent addition to Tottenham Hotspur.

Bardghji, who is only eighteen, has already proven he is a step up in the Danish top flight.

This season, he has scored 11 goals in 30 games in all competitions, and in 71 games for Copenhagen, he has scored 15 goals and provided one assist.

In 2021, Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout released a scouting report on Bardghji, stating that he had “world-class” potential with a score of ten out of ten.

Kulig called the left-footer “extremely dangerous on the counter thanks to his electric pace and acceleration” and compared him to Lionel Messi.

Overall, Bardghji appears to be a terrific pick for Tottenham, who have excelled under Ange Postecoglou and have a bright future ahead of them.
