West Ham is committed to adding new players before the transfer market closes, according to David Moyes.

The manager announced that new players will soon arrive after seeing his injury-ravaged team eliminated from the FA Cup on Tuesday night by Bristol City of the Championship.

When asked if the team hopes to add players to the roster during the January window, which ends on the last day of the month, Moyes replied, “The truth is we’ll try and do some business.”

“Undoubtedly, there’s a desire from the club and from me and everybody there to try and do something.”

With no less than seven first team players out due to injury or international service, West Ham lost 1-0 at Ashton Gate in tonight’s third round replay, falling short at the first hurdle.

At the African Nations Cup, Mohammed Kudus and Nayef Aguerd are now representing Ghana and Morocco, respectively. Pablo Fornals, Edson Alvarez, Michail Anotnio, Jarrod Bowen, and Lucas Paqueta are healing from various injuries.
