Tottenham Hotspur has been strongly connected to a move to sign Antonio Nusa, a player whose profile is quite similar to Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal.

In the transfer window that opens this month, Spurs are not playing around. Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin have already been signed, and it appears that Nusa is the guy they wish to sign next.

Antonio Nusa, a target for Tottenham, resembles Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal in many ways.

According to a number of rumors yesterday, Tottenham and Club Brugge had begun negotiations about Antonio Nusa’s potential signing in the coming days.

Everyone knew it was only a matter of time before the Norwegian, who is currently among Europe’s most fascinating young talents, moved to a bigger club.

While Brugge isn’t opposed to selling Nusa, they have one request of Tottenham: ensure that Nusa is loaned back to the Belgian team until the end of the current campaign.

Nusa is a worthy goal for Tottenham. He possesses every skill needed to be successful at the highest level, and if CIES Football Observatory is right, he resembles Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal quite a little.

The Brazil international, who is a fan favorite at the Emirates, has the “closest” profile among players under the age of 25 in the world, according to a list produced by CIES.

Antonio Nusa is included alongside players like Rafael Leao of AC Milan and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli, implying that the Norwegian is similar to Martinelli.

Heung-min Son has been a huge asset to Tottenham’s left wing for many years.

One of the best players in the Premier League, the South Korean makes it extremely difficult for Tottenham to stop him when he’s on form.

Son, however, is already 31 years old, so he isn’t getting any younger. Tottenham should be watching Antonio Nusa, who is eighteen years old, since he may be the player to succeed him.

Though he isn’t quite on Son’s level yet, the Norwegian has enormous potential. Dougie Critchley of Sky Sports described him as a player with “electric acceleration.”

If Tottenham signs Nusa, we think he can become a star and eventually take Son’s spot under Ange Postecoglou.
