Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski are now responding to the news that emerged from Tottenham yesterday.

Ivan Perisic left Tottenham Hotspur yesterday to sign a loan deal with Hajduk Split, which will last until the end of the current campaign.

Although this move is nominally a loan deal until the end of the campaign, it is official that the Croatian’s Spurs career is ended as he had already entered the final six months of his contract. On Instagram, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison have expressed their affection for him.

Ivan Perisic signed a free move to Tottenham from Inter Milan in the summer of 2022.

Back then, Antonio Conte was thought to be the ideal fit for the adaptable Croatian, and the Italian brought out some incredible performances from him.

Perisic appeared to have little chance of staying at Tottenham after Conte and Stellini were fired last season. According to reports, he also desired to depart.

But at the beginning of the season, Ange Postecoglou gave him opportunities off the bench, and Perisic looked good. He regrettably sustained a significant knee injury in September, which has prevented him from playing since.

Perisic’s time with Tottenham is now over, and a number of his friends on the Spurs team gave him some love on Instagram yesterday after he finalized his transfer to Hajduk Split.

Under Perisic’s post, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski responded with smiley faces, and Sergio Reguilon added, “Vamos!”

This was Tottenham’s and Perisic’s best course of action.

Ivan Perisic’s injury so early in the campaign is truly unfortunate. If he had been fit throughout the previous few months, one can only speculate as to how great of an influence he could have had under Ange Postecoglou.

Perisic believes there is a chance he might play again in April, despite the initial expectation that he would miss the remainder of the season.

But Tottenham would not have benefitted from that, which is why they permitted him to return to his native Croatia and sign with Hajduk Split.

This is the best course of action for all concerned.
