VP taking a private jet to England with plans to bring a Newcastle United player back

We reported on Wednesday from Turkey that BeÅŸiktaÅŸ and Jamaal Lascelles had reached a deal, and the player from Newcastle United is on the verge of joining the club.

Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu revealed later that day that the defender has asked to depart on a free transfer because his contract expires at the end of this season.

Gazetesi Türkiye state Newcastle is searching for a buyer this month and isn’t willing to allow the 30-year-old go on loan.

The center back and the Black Eagles have an agreement in place, but Eddie Howe’s team still needs to come to an agreement.

According to the source, Hüseyin Yücel, the vice president of Beşiktaş, would travel to England on a private plane today in an attempt to persuade the Premier League team.

According to rumors, Yücel is anticipated to travel back to Istanbul with the Englishman; however, this won’t happen unless an accord is struck with Newcastle.

Türkiye Gazetesi reports that BeÅŸiktaÅŸ has designated Rennes’ Nemanja Matić as backup if a deal cannot be reached. Note that Lascelles plays in the center of defense, whereas the Serbian is a midfielder.
