Orel Mangala, a midfielder for Nottingham Forest, is available at Stade Rennais, who have “entered the race” and “submitted an official offer.”

Journalist Florian Plettenberg claims that they have extended an offer to Nottingham Forest for a six-month loan with a buyout need of approximately €25 million, including add-ons.

This month, Mangala has been strongly connected to an unexpected departure from Nottingham Forest. It appears that new manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who hasn’t used Mangala much since taking over, has given him permission to leave.

Many European clubs have expressed interest in moving, and Nottingham Forest is open to doing business on terms that work for them.

Now that Plettenberg has announced that Stade Rennais has entered the race and made an official offer for the player, Stade Rennais can be added to the list of potential suitors.

They want to loan the Belgian player till the end of the current campaign, but there will be a purchase obligation of €25 million plus additional add-ons.

Owner of Nottingham Forest Evangelos Marinakis, who “demands more” and has a “high opinion about the player,” hasn’t been enticed to sell by that as of yet.

It’s unclear what amount he is looking for, but it appears he isn’t willing to take Stade Rennais’ offer just yet. This is fantastic news for Napoli and Juventus, who are’still active’ in the Nottingham Forest man’s current three-horse “open race.”
