Jorge Mendes has proposed Nottingham Forest as a possible replacement for Giovanni Reyna due to his little playing time.

The American international wants to leave Borussia Dortmund this month, according to ESPN, and offers from prestigious European teams are already being made.

Reyna has reportedly expressed a desire to leave the Westfalenstadion, given that he has only played 320 minutes for the Bundesliga team this season, spread across 12 games.

After enrolling in Borussia’s academy in 2019, the American played 119 games for the team. But after suffering an injury earlier in the season, the winger has only played a supporting role, and Jadon Sancho’s return on loan won’t help his situation.

Because of this, super-agent Mendes—who also represents Nuno Espirito Santo—is rumored to have suggested that the 21-year-old may play in the Premier League by moving to the City Ground, or Wolves.

According to reports, Mendes is thinking about moving Reyna permanently or on loan, and Dortmund would want to pay about €15 million for her. According to the article, he has had offers from Benfica, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, and Villarreal in La Liga, as well as Marseille, Monaco, and Lyon in Ligue 1. More teams are reportedly anticipated to approach.

Although Forest could certainly use more depth in their attack, Nuno says the club would proceed cautiously with the remaining transfer window despite not ruling out signings due to their present violation of the Profitability & Sustainability Rules.
